Turn a slice of your Google Maps Timeline into a page you can share

Load your Timeline export

Export your location history from your phone, then drop the JSON file below. Everything is parsed right here in your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Timeline.json — usually a few hundred KB to a few MB
How do I get Timeline.json?
  1. On your phone: open Google Maps → tap your profile photo → Your Timeline.
  2. Tap the overflow menu (⋮) → Location and privacy settings (or in the Google app: Settings → Location → Timeline).
  3. Under Export Timeline data, tap Export. It saves a file named Timeline.json (Android) or produces a JSON you can AirDrop/share to your computer (iOS).
  4. Move that file here and drop it into the box above.

Old Google Takeout exports (a "Semantic Location History" folder full of monthly JSON files) also work — load one month at a time.
