How do I get Timeline.json?
On your phone: open Google Maps → tap your profile photo → Your Timeline.
Tap the overflow menu (⋮) → Location and privacy settings (or in the Google app: Settings → Location → Timeline).
Under Export Timeline data, tap Export. It saves a file named Timeline.json (Android) or produces a JSON you can AirDrop/share to your computer (iOS).
Move that file here and drop it into the box above.
Old Google Takeout exports (a "Semantic Location History" folder full of monthly JSON files) also work — load one month at a time.

Charging stops are placed by matching session time to your route, so the location is approximate — drag a pin on the map to correct it. Click a pin to edit its kWh/cost or remove it.

Downloads just the trip's data. It only turns into a page once it's sitting in your hosting's trips/ folder next to viewer.html — it's not a standalone page you can open on its own.
